E3 is undoubtedly the best time of the year for serious gamers and it’s now less than a week to away. So I thought I’d share my predictions with all you guys.
Electronic Arts (EA)
- They’ll start off the show with Battlefront 2 trailer followed by gameplay.
- Typical sports section, Madden 18, Fifa 18, NBA Live 18.
- Need For Speed gameplay followed with release date.
- Amy Hennig’s Star Wars game gets new trailer, no release date.
- New Battlefield teased for next Fall.
Xbox
- Phil Spencer comes up on stage to unveil trailer for Scorpio.
- Name is Xbox One X, price will be $549.99, release on November 21st.
- New Tomb Raider game coming to Xbox, PS4 and PC. Marketed by Microsoft.
- Crackdown 3 launches with Xbox One X.
- Cuphead gets trailer with Spring window.
- Shadow of War is shown, marketed by Microsoft.
- Forza Motorsport 7 is shown, releases alongside Xbox One X.
- Halo spin off is announced, it’s unveiled as an RPG with Summer 2018 window.
Bethesda
- The Evil Within 2 is unveiled with trailer and gameplay, October release date.
- New Wolfenstein is announced with trailer. January release date.
- Bethesda Game Studios announces a new IP with Fall 2018 window.
- Fallout VR is given a late August release date. Also coming to Playstation VR.
- Quake Champions release date set for Fall.
- The Elder Scrolls 6 is teased.
Ubisoft
- Assassin’s Creed Origins opens up the show, releases October 17.
- Ghost Recon: Wildlands DLC announced.
- Just Dance.
- New Trials game is announced, out now.
- The Rabbids and Mario crossover is unveiled, more at Nintendo’s E3.
- New Tom Clancy game is unveiled, no date given.
Playstation
- Insomniac’s Spider-Man game is given a gameplay demo, Spring 2018 release date.
- God of War is given a new trailer with February release date.
- SuckerPunches game is unvieled as a new IP, no date given.
- Gran Turismo Sport gets a new trailer, October 2017 release.
- Days Gone gets new trailer and gameplay with October 24th release.
- Detroit: Become Human is given a new trailer and December release date.
- Uncharted: The Lost Legacy gets a gameplay demo.
- Bloodborne 2 is announced with a 2018 date.
- The Last of Us Part 2 is given a new trailer, no date given.
- Ratchet & Clank Future series remasters announced, September release date.
- Spyro remasters announced, 2018 date.
- Call of Duty WW2 gets a gameplay reveal.
- PSVR gets a new killer app
- Battlefront 2 has PSVR content.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 gets a trailer.
- Death Stranding gets a new trailer, no date given.
Nintendo
- Pokemon Stars is shown with November release date.
- New Metroid game is unveiled for Switch, Spring release date.
- A smartphone Metroid game is unveiled, out in the Fall.
- Super Mario Odyssey gets a gameplay demo, November release date.
