MOTHERGUNSHIP has a simple premise as do a hundred other action games where aliens have attacked the earth. You must avenge it and push back the alien horde! What made MOTHERGUNSHIP stand out for me are the mechanics that allow you to customize the guns that make up your offensive force. Unlike other games where the guns are set, in this game you are able to modulate and customize your load out not on a ship in some kind of simulation, but on your 1st person shooter character. The results can be incredible destructive, but also hilarious. Want a gun that will obliterate everything every 5 seconds? Sure, but the recoil is a bitch. The game is on my list to play more in depth, but based on what I saw it is going to be exciting.
