Death Stranding was surprisingly shown off after Hideo got the The Industry Icon Award! BTW, Geoff gave an emotional and moving speach during The Game Awards about Hideo.
The game also features Hannibal actor Mads Mikkelsen, which he plays a major character in the game. Guillermo del Toro, long time friend of Hideo, made an appearance in the game. But it seems he’ll only play a minor roll seeing he wasn’t in the credits. Mark Cerny is though! He’s the technical producer! 😀
Death Stranding is one of Sony’s newest IPs (while many think it’s Hideo’s IP), currently in development exclusively for PlayStation 4. No release date or release window has been given for the game.
