In response to a fan question on Twitter, producer Fernando Melo confirmed that BioWare currently doesn’t have any plans for cross-platform play, and the game will not have dedicated servers. Like Mass Effect 3, it’ll be peer-to-peer. You can see the exchange below.
@tibermoon is there any chance the mp will be crossplay with PC/Xbox or PC/PS4? Also really hoping for dedicated servers.

Honestly this doesn’t bother me one bit Cross-Play really isn’t that big of a deal to me personally aswell as dedicated servers vs P2P. I know alot of people have an idea that if dedicated servers are added to alot of these games that are P2P all their lag problems will disappear. Well I’m here to tell you that it wont but that’s a conversation for another time.
