Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue will launch for PlayStation 4 on January 12 in Japan and January 28th in the west, Square-Enix announced at the 2016 PlayStation Press Conference in Japan.
The collection includes HD remasters of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts Chi: Back Cover, a new tale told via HD cinematics focusing on the foretellers. Also included is a completely new story Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage. You can watch the new trailer below
While this is exciting news, I think i can speak for most western jrpg fans when I say we’d just as soon take the already released 1.5 and 2.5 HD remasters on PS4.
