206412064, neo San Fransico. You play as a friend of an inventor named Hayden who is missing. His robot Turning comes and tries to get you to help friend Hayden. While the concept of the game sounds simple, it’s really not. This game helps you explore what it would be like to live in a world where tech is even more advanced then we have it now.

This is a point and click adventure game, so the controls are quite simple. Click an item then chose to use options like look or touch. Honestly, it’s refreshing to have more point and click games hit PlayStation since there’s so little on the platform.

“2064: Read Only Memories is an experience that everyone needs to pick up”

The graphical style is 2D Pixel Art and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes it is hard to see everything on screen (then again I’m playing on a 65 inch OLED panel), I bet this would’ve been perfect if it was on PS Vita’s display!

Trophy Time: as with all games I review, we have to look at the trophies! So, 46 total. 1 Platinum, 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and… 43 Bronze. I love the names of these trophies. The ones like No, I Don’t Feel You, Yule Be Back, & Put The Thing in the Doohickey are funny as fuck. Wish more games would have funny and creative trophy names like this.

2064: Read Only Memories is an experience that everyone needs to pick up, it’s just so great. 2064: Read Only Memories gets a well deserved 8.25/10!
