EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed during an earnings call today not only the sequel to Star Wars battlefront for later this year, but also new details many fans might be excited over.
One of the criticisms of the first installment was the lack of a campaign. Well fans should be pleased when it has been stated that the next Battlefront will be “Including an all new single player campaign”. As if that isn’t enough to be excited about the upcoming game “will be even bigger, taking players into more locations, and allowing them to play with more heroes and characters across multiple Star Wars eras”. By the sounds of this, many fans should be optimistic that the game will not share the same issues as its first entry where many felt the game lacked content and was bare bones. Never the less Battlefront laid a great foundation and this information makes the sequel that much more exciting sounding. I would expect we will be hearing a lot more about this upcoming game at E3 in June.
